Ethos Healthcare Services will offer Homemaker-Enhanced services designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in managing household tasks essential for maintaining a healthy and safe home environment. Homemaker-Enhanced services encompass the same household tasks outlined in Basic Homemaker Services, with the addition of either habilitation or extraordinary cleaning provided by qualified homemakers.
These services will be delivered within the individual’s home, enabling them to uphold a healthy, safe, and clean living environment. Homemaker-Enhanced may involve extraordinary or deep cleaning, as well as habilitation aimed at equipping individuals with the skills necessary to maintain their living space independently. Habilitation entails developing customized step-by-step instructions and learning strategies to empower individuals in acquiring the essential skills for home maintenance. The specific level of support, training, or areas requiring deep cleaning will be determined within the individual’s Individual Plan and approved by their Case Manager/Resource Coordinator.
